I learned the benefit of self reliance for home maintenance at an early age. My parents bought homes and fixed them up, then moved on to the next one. I spent a lot of time living in the many stages of home remodels. :) After years of doing projects on my own properties, including a full home renovation, it became apparent that this was FUN work! Starting a business doing what is fun seemed like a logical step.

I was born and raised in Colorado and have a love for the mountains and nature. Camping, hiking and hanging out around the campfire with friends, family and the dogs are a few of my favorite things. I'm a nurse practitioner by trade, and still work in the field part time. I have a passion for helping people and this business is just one more way to give.

I fell in love with working with my hands as a kid, creating things in the garage from materials on hand, plus a trip or two to the hardware store with my Dad. Early on, he helped me build go-carts, which we'd pull up the street and ride down the hill for a quick thrill. (Back in those days, this was considered no big deal!) Over the years, I've learned all kinds of skills, and a fair bit about what not to do! This continued into my career as a scientist building test equipment in the lab.

I've lived in Colorado for over 25 years and renovated several kitchens, bathrooms, and old houses inside and out, along with my husband in our "spare time". However, after too many years of sitting at a desk for work, I've decided to make the fun stuff be the main event!

I am passionate about doing things with quality and kindness. It's a genuine pleasure to provide solutions that will make your home more enjoyable!
